Night Oils is the name I give a group of small paintings 6" x 8" or smaller. They are titled as such because I often "burn the night oil" to paint them. While not being daily paintings, their size and intent follows in that genre. Painting whatever captures my fancy, their intimate size affects how you see them and creates a sense of surprise. It also makes them affordable for a person just starting their collection. It often turns out that I have mini-series within the group. 

They make wonderful gifts and can be fit in practically anywhere, allowing a person to have original art as part of their everyday life.

The paintings are currently $99. A 1 1/4" wide flat mahogany custom frame adds $50.
