The Sweet Stuff series came about when some friends of ours opened a new restaurant. At the grand opening they came out with a big tray of mini-sundaes. All that whipped cream, all those cherries... it looked so happy. I thought, "This is something I would never take the time to do". It made me feel good just to look at it. That's good therapy. I decided to paint it.
